2. Data We Collect

When you submit the contact form, we process: first and last name, email address, subject, budget range, and message content. Technical metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) is transmitted automatically by your browser.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

Responding to commission or support inquiries: Art. 31 para. 2 lit. a FADP (pre-contractual measures); Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for EEA visitors. Security and abuse prevention: Art. 31 para. 2 lit. b FADP; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Legal obligations such as invoicing and tax retention: Art. 31 para. 1 FADP; Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

4. Data Retention

Inquiry data: up to 3 years after last contact. Billing and order records (if a commission is completed): 10 years (Swiss Code of Obligations Art. 958f). Web server logs: up to 30 days for security purposes.

5. Recipients and Processors

Google Fonts (US/EU): your IP and user agent are transmitted when the page loads. Lanyard API: Discord presence data is fetched client-side from api.lanyard.rest to display online status. No contact form data is shared with third parties without your consent.

6. International Transfers

Some processors are located outside Switzerland and the EEA. Transfers to the United States are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to information about stored data (Art. 25 FADP), rectification, deletion or restriction of processing, objection, and data portability (Art. 28 FADP). To exercise any right, email info@devkayo.de. We respond within 30 days.

8. Supervisory Authority

You may file a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): edoeb.admin.ch. EEA residents may also contact their local supervisory authority.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including TLS encryption, access controls and regular software updates.

10. Changes

We may amend this policy to reflect changes to our service or applicable law. The current version always applies.
